Stryj River Rafting

Stryj River RaftingStryj River rafting (on the map) in the Ukrainian Carpathians is an awesome, intense, action-packed white-water rafting adventure just two hours south of Lviv. Join our one-day trip or a multi-day trip that includes meals, transfer and camping. Because the riverbanks are wild and uninhibited, scouting on the riverside is possible almost everywhere.

You will enjoy our fun trip through moderate rapids surrounded by woodlands and mountains – 21 kilometers of whitewater rafting and outstanding scenery. But this river trip is about more than whitewater. It is great excitement to hike to scenic viewpoints overlooking amazing Stryj River Valley landscape as well as explore ancient Rozgirche cave monastery.

Stryj River Stryj river is one of the safest mountain rafting rivers in Ukrainian Carpathians. Beginning on the slopes of the mt. Pikuj and flowing in crystal-clear, sparkling torrents through lush, green forests down into the pastoral Stryj Valley, the Stryj River is one of the longest rivers of the region. Also, the mountains around the river offer some of the most scenic and varied hiking in the Carpathians.

Minimum age is 12 during high flows. Season: from April through October. Unfortunately in low-water season (often in July and August) rafting on Stryj River may not be possible. During the low-water season we offer one-day and multi-day trips to the Dnister River.
