The Arachthos River is one of the most popular rafting rivers in Greece. It offers a beginner and intermediate route. The narrow Arachthos Gorge offers beautiful scenery and vertical formations reaching 700m. Near the middle of the route you can go ashore and take an easy hike to the Glyfki waterfall and pond. At the end of the route you’ll take in the Bridge of Plaka which is the highest single-arch bridge in Greece. We normally recommend making sleeping arrangements in Tzoumerka for this trip.
